Have questions before we get started? Here are some of the most common questions and answers when it comes to my monthly Business Website Management services.

The primary difference between cloud hosting and shared hosting lies in the number of servers used and the allocation of resources.

In shared hosting, your website is hosted on a single server, alongside sometimes tens of thousands of other sites, all of which share the same pool of resources. Since there are usually no restrictions on the resources that can be used, neighboring websites may consume all of the server’s CPU and RAM, causing all of the other websites on the server to slow down or even go offline completely. Also, if the server your website is hosted on experiences any hardware failure, all websites go down completely, and restoring service may take a while.

Hosting providers like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc are incredibly popular because they offer extremely cheap shared hosting. This typically draws in unwitting users who don’t know any better but are lured in when they see website hosting for just a few dollars a month. This causes a myriad of problems that users don’t realize until it’s too late.

Cloud hosting utilizes a pool of servers to improve redundancy, and the shared resources are virtually partitioned to provide a dedicated allotment of resources for each website that cannot be used/abused by other websites. And, since your website is hosted on a pool of machines and one of them fails, the other machines instantly take over… making the likelihood of your website experiencing downtime almost impossible.

The short answer is yes. I maintain a high level of quality in all the work I deliver to my clients. One of the key measures of a successful website is the speed at which content is delivered to the user, as well as the uptime of the servers. This can only be achieved through excellent hosting, which I provide to my clients.

If I cannot control the environment your website resides on, unfortunately, that means I cannot guarantee the high-level of service I have come to be known for.

Each website management plan is custom-built for each client project, depending on their website’s needs. As you can see from the list above, monthly business website management plans include a lot of services, tools, and moving parts… starting for as little as $79/mo.

All monthly Business Website Management invoices are billed and due on the 1st of each month.

For new website projects, I collect payment for the first three months in advance, with monthly recurring billing starting from the fourth month. If you like, there is also an auto-pay option available for all monthly recurring invoices.

Yes. Websites with eCommerce functionality necessitate more plugins, greater customization, maintenance, and server resources than a typical non-eCommerce website. The investment for monthly Business Website Management for an eCommerce website starts at only $129/mo.

I haven’t experienced any hacked client websites in my 28+ years of building websites. This is solely because I take security very seriously and employ multiple precautions to prevent such attacks and vulnerabilities on my clients’ websites.

Unfortunately, there is no foolproof method to prevent all possible security issues, so, in the rare event that your website is hacked, I can spin up the most recent backup (usually from the previous day) and quickly restore your website in a matter of minutes.

Once your website is restored to its original content, I will immediately generate new passwords for you to make sure your website is safe and secure once again.

Although we would prefer to continue working together, we understand that sometimes a change is necessary. You are free to terminate your services at any time by sending us a written request through email. After receiving the request, we will remove our premium tools from your website and provide you with instructions for purchasing your own licenses in order to keep your website running smoothly.

Your service will be discontinued either on the last day of your billing cycle or immediately upon your request. Please note that we do not offer refunds for unused portions of service if you decide to cancel before the end of your current term.
